• What is the minimum number to book a group Granada Tapas Tour?
  2 is the minimum number
• How big are the Tapas Tour groups normally?
  A Granada Tapas Tour group tour could have a maximum of 8 people booked on it
• How long is the tour?
  A Granada Tapas Tour is normally 2 hours 30 minutes (minimum) but the event may well last up to 3 hours. This can also depend on the day of the week – Fridays & Saturdays tend to be busier & it can take longer to get served in each bar). Moreover we have a lot to tell you - time flies when you´re having fun!
• Are there private / customised / special occasion Tours available?
  Yes, fully customisable (private) tapas tours are available. Send in your questions / requirements & a personalised tour will be created for you.
• While in Granada when should I schedule a Granada Tapas Tour?
  We suggest you book a Tapas Tour route at the start of your stay in the city & then use what you learn with us & explore more tapas bars during the rest of the time you spend in Granada.
• Can I bring my children on a tapa tour?
  Yes, all children are welcome in bars (special prices apply): 0 – 7 (free) / 8 – 11 (25€) / 12 – 15 (30€) / 16+ (adult price)
• Can you cater for specific dietary requirements on a Granada Tapas Tour?
  Yes, with enough advance warning, the bars can prepare tapas for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, lactose intolerant & any allergy affected customer. Please always state any dietary requests at the time of booking a tour.
• If a tour date is fully booked, is there a waiting list system?
  Yes. During peak times (March to October) it´s common for weekends in particular to fill up. Therefore we´ll place you on a waiting list and when a 2nd group forms we´ll be right back in touch & book you in for a Granada Tapas Tour.
• What time do the food tours normally start?
  At lunch times we begin at 1pm (1:30pm in summer) & in the evening we start at 8pm (8:30pm in summer). If you require a tour at an earlier time it IS POSSIBLE. Please look at the Tapa Sampling Route and or contact us: enquiries@granadatapastours.com
• Where do the tours start and end?
  We’ll meet at a centrally located point in the city and normally the tours will end close to this point. Granada is not a big city so you’ll easily be able to walk back to the meeting location. We don’t have any set routes so every tour is slightly different – that’s part of the experience!
• What sort of food will be served on a Granada Tapas Tour?
  That’s all part of the experience! Your tapa expert will guide you through the possibilities. All sorts of food can be served: fish, meat, vegetables, classic tapas favourites, modern fusion options…. As long as you’re ready to try (more or less!) anything we’ll show you how the Granada folks eat tapas! .
• If I arrive late can I still join a Tapas Tour?
  If you arrive at the meeting point less than 30 minutes late it is more than likely you´ll be able to find the group in the first bar. If this happens please call / text the number given in the Confirmation Email to locate the group and make your own way there.
• Is a Tapas Tour suitable for people with physical disabilities / wheelchair users?
  Yes, anyone can join a tour. Advance warning is required so that we can plan a “wheelchair-friendly” route. Please note: the Albaicín route would not be possible for a wheelchair user
• Is tipping expected at the end of the Tapas Tour?
  If you have enjoyed your Food Tour experience, we´re always grateful if you´d like to tip the tapa expert. This is entirely at your discretion.

CORPORATE GROUPS or AGENCIES - Frequently Asked Questions

• What is the largest number you can accommodate for a Granada Tapas Tour activity?
  When dealing with bigger groups (20+) there are 2 options:
  1. 1.Divide the group into smaller, separate parties (each with a tapa guide on hand to guide the group around)
  2. 2.As a group, we can visit 1 or 2 bars & have a “tapas selection” served (e.g., 1 drink per bar / between 4 - 6 tapas per person)
  The reason we do this is because many of the tapas bars are small and although we want you to have an authentic Granada Tapas Tour experience we also want to tailor things to your specific group´s needs.
